In 2007, Chuck Schaeffer was already well-established as a competent guitarist. What he really wanted most was recognition as a great songwriter, to front his own band and create his own sound. That was the birth of CSB.
CSB has a hard rock edge, but is never hard on the ears. their songs are overflowing with compelling melodies, clever, infectious hooks, great solos and thought-provoking lyrics. It's immediately interesting, sonically pleasing, and unmistakably original.
